Duarte, Leading Silicon Valley Design Firm, Will Guide Messaging of New Media Service
Asbury Park, New Jersey--The Rasmussen Media Group announced today that it has retained Duarte, Inc., to help guide the messaging of a new media service to be launched this summer. Duarte, Inc., is the largest design firm in Silicon Valley and has influenced how the world perceives some of the most important brands and entities, including Cisco, Citrix, ESPN, Food Network, Boeing, TED, and the World Bank.
“In today's fragmented media environment, it is more essential than ever for a brand to be able to articulate its core story to a wide variety of audiences with clarity, creativity, and speed,” said Scott Rasmussen, president of the Rasmussen Media Group. “Duarte is the ideal partner to help us with this process because they have a proven method for finding the heart of a story and expressing it in a way that moves people.”
Duarte, Inc., has mastered the art of effectively incorporating storytelling into business communications. The firm creates presentations and offers training based on their unique VisualStoryTM methodology outlined in Nancy Duarte’s three best-selling books—Slide:ology, Resonate, and the HBR Guide to Persuasive Presentations. The approach combines storytelling and visual thinking principles to create persuasive communications designed to shift audience beliefs and behaviors.
Rooted in a deep respect for the common sense wisdom of ordinary people, Rasmussen Media Group was created to refine, enlarge, and empower the voice of mainstream America. Scott Rasmussen founded the firm last summer to develop and invest in digital media properties. Earlier in his career, Rasmussen was a co-founder of ESPN and the founder of Rasmussen Reports.
Located in Asbury Park, NJ, Rasmussen Media Group also recently announced the hiring of Ralph del Campo as Chief Operating Officer and Grayson Brulte as Senior Technology Advisor.
